Sticky Buffalo Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1kg chicken wings, skin on
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried coriander
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 4 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced red chilli
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Celery Sticks

Method

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with some kitchen paper
  2. In a bowl, coat the wings in the paprika, baking powder, coriander, grated garlic and some salt and pepper. Then coat in the buffalo sauce, honey and sweet chilli sauce.
  3. Add the wings to the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours on high or 5 hours on low (placing a tea towel on top of the slow cooker under the lid helps to get the wings crispy)
  4. Garnish with spring onions, chilli and lime juice. Serve with blue cheese dip and celery sticks.
