Sticky Buffalo Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 1kg chicken wings, skin on
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp dried coriander
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 4 tbsp buffalo sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced red chilli
- Juice of 1 lime
- Celery Sticks
Method
- Pat the chicken wings dry with some kitchen paper
- In a bowl, coat the wings in the paprika, baking powder, coriander, grated garlic and some salt and pepper. Then coat in the buffalo sauce, honey and sweet chilli sauce.
- Add the wings to the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours on high or 5 hours on low (placing a tea towel on top of the slow cooker under the lid helps to get the wings crispy)
- Garnish with spring onions, chilli and lime juice. Serve with blue cheese dip and celery sticks.
